While in the Library

	No food or drink allowed

Book Drop

For your convenience, a bookdrop is located on the east side of the library. Items must drop ALL THE WAY into the library before the library assumes responsibility for the books.

Membership

	All residents of Milam County may be members of the library at no cost for the first card. Replacement cards will be $3.00.
	All out-of-county residents must pay an annual fee of $5.00 for the first card in the family and $2.00 for each additional card.
	Identification Required: Current Texas Drivers License, proof of current address, and parents signature for those under 18.
	Children must be in kindergarten to receive their own library card.

Check Out Procedures

Cards MUST BE presented at all times to borrow books. The patron is responsible for all material checked out on his / her card.

Up to 4 items may be checked out on a card. Patrons with preschool age children may check out an additional 2 items for each child.

New patrons using their card for the first time are limited to one item.

Fines

	Book fines are 15¢/day with a maximum fine of $5 per item.
	Videos are $1/day with a maximum fine of $5.
	Fines for ILL books will be determined by the lending library.
	Other items with unique fines will be indicated on the item.
