The purpose of the church shall be that which is in the Old and New Testament - to welcome all people, to win them to faith in God as Christ, to commit them actively to the Church, to help them grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ that increasingly they may know and do God's will, and to work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of witnessing to the Kingdom of God. |
