Looking out from the old iron bridge, little river is broad and peaceful as it nears its mouth on the Brazos.

Click for "Mysteron On The Mountain" Sugarloaf holds memories for many in Milam County. It may not be a real mountain but it is the closest thing we have. A picnic on top of Sugarloaf was enjoyed by many. Today, the "mountain" is private property and posted.

"Sugarloaf Mountain" lies just to the south of the iron bridge off of CR-264.
